Laura Flores (’22), current Fellow with Justice Action Center, was quoted by America’s Voice calling for congressional action after a federal court rejected a 2022 Biden administration rule to preserve and fortify DACA (“We Are Part of the American Identity, Whether the GOP Recognizes It or Not”: DACA Recipients React Following Latest Ruling against Program,” Sep. 14). “Now more than ever, Congress must act to pass permanent protections and the administration should employ applicable tools to protect DACA recipients. . . . They deserve to live and work with dignity and security, none of which are afforded to them when their future is dictated by the whims of courts.”
