Kevin Ryan (’92), President and CEO of Covenant House, was quoted on Alaska Public Media praising a city and state-wide collaboration, as Covenant House Alaska opens two new spaces providing job training and housing for homeless youth (“Covenant House Opens Long-Term Housing, Job Training Facilities for Homeless Youth,” June 27). “This all came about because there is a big movement of people in this community who want to make sure no kid is on the streets alone. This is a public-private partnership that brings together folks from the business community, from civic associations, from government, to help young people build the scaffolding of their lives so they can sustainably overcome homelessness.”
