Butler Consulting, was quoted in the Los Angeles Times following the newspaper’s investigation finding inequities in how the Sheriff’s Department uses bike stops, condemning unwarranted searches primarily targeting Latinos (“L.A. Sheriff’s Deputies Use Minor Stops To Search Bicyclists, With Latinos Hit Hardest,” Nov. 4). “It’s just another version of stop and frisk. . . . It’s just another way to profile, to stop, to harass.”
