Katherine Wutchiett (’16), Staff Attorney at Legal Aid at Work, was quoted in the San Francisco Chronicle regarding the “unthinkable” action of ending of California’s Covid-19 Sick Leave program on September 30 (“California’s Extra Sick Leave Pay For COVID-19 on the Way to Expiration This Month,” Sep. 7). “So many families can’t afford to go without their income right now. Even before the pandemic, for many people, it’s been hard to find a job that is healthy and safe and pays an income they need.”
