John Tye (’06), Founder of Whistleblower Aid, was quoted in The New York Times regarding his organization’s work representing former Facebook product manager Frances Haugen in an S.E.C. whistle-blower complaint revealing the discrepancy between Facebook’s public statements and its internal documentation on knowledge of its harms to users (“Whistle-Blower Says Facebook ‘Chooses Profits Over Safety,’” Oct. 3). John noted Frances “is a very courageous person and is taking a personal risk to hold a trillion-dollar company accountable.”
