Katherine Wutchiett (’16), Staff Attorney at Legal Aid at Work, was quoted in her organization’s press release following a victory in a lawsuit raised by Legal Aid at Work and others, securing a monetary settlement on behalf of their client and establishing U.S. Navy training requirements on lactation rights and sexual harassment law (“Naval Base Worker Wins Settlement Over Lactation, Sexual Harassment,” Aug. 31). “Being able to pump milk at work isn’t a privilege, it’s a right. No one should have to go through what Ms. Atkinson did, and thanks to her courage, hopefully fewer new parents will have to.”
