Ajmel Quereshi (’08), Senior Counsel at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, was quoted in a HuffPost article regarding Biden’s order to reverse Trump’s ban on diversity training and affirming LDF’s commitment to investigating whether changes from Trump’s initial ban are actually being rescinded (“How Biden Is Erasing Trump’s White Supremacist Legacy,” Jan. 26). Citing Trump’s diversity ban as “one of the most damaging things the previous administration did,” Ajmel added, “By keeping Americans from discussing these basic facts of history, the previous administration hoped to cement the status quo and any disparities that existed in it.”
