Fellow Jessica Beheydt (’19) was quoted in The Indiana Lawyer regarding the Bloomington Expungement Help Desk, founded by Jessica and fellow Indiana Law graduates, which offers free expungement services and has assisted 145 clients with 118 expungements granted since its launch in January 2020 (“Web Exclusive: Setbacks Don’t Hinder Bloomington Free Expungement Provider,” Dec. 23). “I’m so excited for the future of the help desk. I saw these numbers and I was blown away. I’m absolutely thrilled. . . . I can’t even think of the number of people who could benefit from the service that we haven’t been able to reach out to. The more efficient we get with these cases and more volunteers that we are able to train to have on board, the more people we will be able to help. That’s incredibly exciting.”
