Fellow John Bonacorsi (‘19), Staff Attorney at ArchCity Defenders, was quoted in the Riverfront Times regarding a “terrifying” shortage of beds for the unhoused, citing the current disparity between the city of St. Louis’ current shelter capacity and the expected demand (“Eviction Crisis Could Trigger Surge in St. Louis Homelessness,” Aug. 19). “[I]t’s so important that the courts don’t start opening up in a way where people are being evicted from their homes, particularly if the rental assistance fund from the federal government isn’t reaching those folks yet.”
