No Ordinary Summer: Sharon Terman Addresses Parents' Paid Leave as Kids Break from School

Sharon Terman ('05), Director of the Work and Family Program and Senior Staff Attorney for San Francisco's Legal Aid at Work, was quoted in a Bloomberg Law piece regarding understanding eligibility and related employer and employee concerns in navigating paid family leave this summer ("Punching In: School's Out Means Paid Leave's In for Some Workers," June 1). "Fear of retaliation for exercising their rights is always a concern. That's another reason why the Department of Labor should make crystal clear to employers and employees that they're going to vigorously enforce this law."
