Andy Imparato ('91), Executive Director of Disability Rights California, was quoted in a CalMatters online article regarding a change to California guidelines to prohibit allocating scarce hospital resources based on factors like age, disability, chronic medical conditions, weight and perceived quality of life ("CA Changes Guidelines for Prioritizing Coronavirus Patients," June 11). "During this crisis it is critical that we protect access to care for those communities made most vulnerable to the health impacts of COVID-19 — people with disabilities, people of color and older adults."
