Ray Brescia Outlines Effective Organization of Emergency Response

Former Fellow Ray Brescia (’92), a professor at Albany Law School, wrote a column for the Institute for Policy Studies’ Other Words newsletter detailing infrastructure and charitable crisis efforts (“What 9/11 Can Teach Us About Responding to Coronavirus,” March 24). “One of the most important successes of the 9/11 response was that the government, non-profit, philanthropic, and private sectors all worked together,” Ray said. Ray also wrote a post for his Future of Change blog assessing oversight of federal relief efforts (“Mitch McConnell, Master of the ‘Infinite Game,’ Loses a Round,” April 2).
