Former Fellow Kevin Ryan (’92), the president and CEO of Covenant House International, was interviewed on MSNBC to discuss the additional challenges for homeless youth during the coronavirus pandemic and the needs of shelters attempting to service them (“Helping Struggling Americans During Coronavirus Crisis,” March 25). Describing “a 40% uptick in the number of meals served,” Kevin said, “Last week we served 45,000 meals across 31 cities to children and youth who are facing homelessness.”
