Former Fellow Cynthia Godsoe (’99), a professor at Brooklyn Law School, coauthored an op-ed in the Daily News about the unequal power structure that enables abuse of workers (“After the Weinstein Verdict: Relief, and Some Fears a Bad Precedent May Have Been Set,” Feb. 24). “Even a high-profile conviction doesn’t render the criminal process one that works well for most survivors … we should be wary of thinking that we can prosecute and jail our way out of sexual violence,” Cynthia cautioned.
