Terri Gerstein Discusses Safeguards for Gig Workers

Former Fellow Terri Gerstein (’95), the director of the State and Local Enforcement Project at Harvard Law School, commented on potential state laws that would provide more employer protections and benefits to contract workers for a story in The Washington Post (“Gig Economy Bills Move Forward in Other Blue States, After California Clears the Way,” Jan. 17). “It’s a moment in our politics where people are understanding, especially in progressive states, these tensions between big corporations and corporate money and ordinary people,” Terri said.
