Former Fellow Patricia Nix-Hodes (’92), the director of the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless legal services program, explained the coalition’s collaboration with school districts in a Chicago Sun Times article (“‘Transformational’ New CPS Positions Will Help Students Who Are Homeless,” Jan. 27). Describing the development of staff positions to help kids deal with temporary living solutions, Patricia said that “having one dedicated person fulfilling those responsibilities ... will really change the direction of students’ lives.”
