Jason Pedraza Helps Expand National Model Preschool Program

Fellow Jason Pedraza (’19) authored a guide entitled “Children’s Rights in New Jersey’s State-Funded Preschool Program” for the Education Law Center, which helps families with children who are eligible for or currently enrolled in the program understand the available services. The organization announced the publication of the materials on its website (“Guide to New Jersey’s Right to Preschool Available in English and Spanish,” Jan. 16). “Safeguarding children’s educational rights in preschool, especially those from low-income families and communities, is critical to close the educational opportunity gap,” Jason said.
