Dan Farbman Finds Triage Work Can Broadly Address Social Issues

Former Fellow Dan Farbman (’08), an assistant professor at Boston College Law School, authored an essay for the California Law Review analyzing the effectiveness of linking direct service practices to movement politics in order to achieve systemic legal reform (“Resistance Lawyering,” Dec. 2019). Dan suggested that “today’s resistance lawyers can learn from the abolitionists’ integration of politics and daily practice as they fight to increase the political power and salience of their own work.”
