Former Fellow Andy Imparato (’91) has joined Disability Rights California, the agency designated under federal law to protect and advocate for the rights of Californians with disabilities, as its new executive director. In the agency’s announcement of Andrew’s selection, disability rights attorney and former Fellow Claudia Gordon (’00) noted that Andy “has been a key mentor for me and so many diverse leaders in DC. I appreciate his ability to recognize and cultivate talent, achieve results, build creative coalitions, and stay true to his core values.”
