Eve Stotland Discusses Funds To Support Unaccompanied Minors

Former Fellow Eve Stotland (’99), program officer for education and human justice at The New York Community Trust, was quoted in Manhattan Times News on the New York City Council’s announcement that it will dedicate $3.9 million toward free legal and social services for unaccompanied minors in immigration courts (“Funding Boosted To Protect Unaccompanied Minors,” July 31). “Many people are surprised that infants and children don’t have a right to counsel in immigration court,” Eve said.
