Former Fellow Danielle Lang (’13) was quoted in a story on Vox abut a recently signed Florida law that requires residents with felony records to pay all financial penalties connected to their sentence before having their voting rights restored ("Florida Faces an Intense Legal Battle Over Restoring Former Felons’ Voting Rights," July 2). "The argument [against the law] is actually pretty straightforward, and it’s taught in seventh grade civics," Danielle said. "We can’t have a poll tax."
