Former Fellow Jose Javier Rodriguez (’06), a Florida state senator, wrote an op-ed for The Invading Sea calling on the state of Florida to take action against climate change (“The Warming Climate and Rising Sea Are Grave Economic Challenges That the State Government Must Tackle Quickly and Boldly,” May 31). “We still have time, though not much of it,” Jose wrote. “If we as the State of Florida are finally going to get our act together and take real action on climate change, we need to act now.”
