Claudia Wilner Calls for Ending Suspensions of Driver’s Licenses

Former Fellow Claudia Wilner (’03) helped launch the Driven by Justice Coalition, which seeks to end the “harmful, discriminatory and counterproductive practice of suspending people’s driver’s licenses for not paying or answering a traffic ticket in New York State.” The coalition’s work has been featured by several news outlets, including The New York Times (“Handcuffed and Arrested for Not Paying a Traffic Ticket,” May 8).
