Former Fellow Nina Kohn (’03) and Fellow Brian Highsmith (’17) authored articles for the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review (Spring 2019). Nina wrote “For Love and Affection: Elder Care and the Law’s Denial of Intra-Family Contracts.” Brian co-authored “Crimsumerism: Combating Consumer Abuses in the Criminal Legal System.” Brian also wrote an article for Washington Monthly on why the U.S. Postal Service “should allow customers to register for unique, portable and permanent ‘mailing PINs’” (“A Simple Plan to Make Moving Less Awful,” April 2019).
