Former Fellow Rose Goldberg (’16) drafted an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal advocating for a streamlined review process for former service members with less-than-honorable discharges awaiting VA determinations of whether they qualify as “veterans” (“He Has a Purple Heart, but the VA Wouldn’t Call Him a Veteran,” Feb. 12). “The VA should expand the categories of former service members it presumes are veterans, starting with other-than-honorable discharges,” Rose wrote.
