Patrice Kunesh Writes About Impact of Shutdown on Indian Country

Former Fellow Patrice Kunesh (‘89) wrote an article for the Center for Indian Country Development’s blog about the devastating impact of the federal shutdown on tribal communities (“The U.S. Government Shutdown: Its Impact on Indian Country Is Deep,” Jan. 14). “As the federal government shutdown continues, we at the Center for Indian Country Development believe the dollar estimate of the current impact on Indian Country is substantial and outsized, and the actual impacts extensive and deep,” Patrice wrote.
