Former Fellow Michael Tan (’10) and Fellow Julie Veroff (’18) wrote for the ACLU’s website about a lawsuit challenging the Trump administration’s new “Migrant Protection Protocols” (“Trump Administration Is Illegally Forcing Asylum Seekers Out of the US,” Feb. 14). “The administration calls this new policy the ‘Migrant Protection Protocols’  —  but that’s just Orwellian doublespeak,” they wrote. “The policy has nothing to do with protecting people and everything to do with making it impossible for migrants to get the humanitarian protection that they are entitled to.”
