Former Fellow Matt Meyer (‘02) wrote an op-ed for the Philadelphia Inquirer arguing that President Trump should shift his focus from immigration to the opioid crisis (“Trump Should Spend $5 Billion on the Opioid Epidemic, Not the Border Wall,” Jan. 24). “There are quality underfunded governmental and nongovernmental programs that could help hundreds of thousands of those facing chemical addiction across our country,” Matt wrote. “Many of these programs would save money in the long run.”
