Eunice Cho Advocates for Special Ed Students

Former Fellow Eunice Cho (’10) is litigating a case on behalf of special education students seeking to end discriminatory discipline in Washington state. The case was discussed in an article in The Christian Science Monitor (“Discipline and Special Ed: Schools Work to Reduce Suspensions,” May 31). The lawsuit argues that, in Washington, “special education students ... are expelled or suspended ‘at more than twice the rate of their non-special education peers,’” the article said.
