Jeree Thomas Authors Report on Keeping Kids Out of Adult Courts

Former Skadden Fellow Jeree Thomas ('11) of the Campaign for Youth Justice authored a new report as part of the organization's look at states blocking pathways of children into the adult criminal justice system ("Raising the Bar: State Trends in Keeping Youth Out of Adult Courts (2015-2017)" Oct. 11). Since 2015, 19 states and the District of Columbia have passed laws reducing the number of kids in the adult criminal justice system, the report said.
