Estella Cisneros Comments on Heat Sickness Among Farmworkers

Former Fellow Estella Cisneros ('12), directing attorney at California Rural Legal Assistance, was quoted in a Mother Jones article about the dangers that farmworkers face when working in extreme temperatures, including heat exhaustion, heatstroke and death ("How Heat Kills Farmworkers," Sept. 20). "We continue to hear from people that there's still employers that don't provide water, don't provide shade," Estella said.
