Jeree Thomas Authors Article on Prison Reform for Kids

Former Skadden Fellow Jeree Thomas ('11) authored an article for the Juvenile Justice Information Exchange about states' progress on moving kids out of adult jails and prisons ("States Show Some Progress 2 Years After Kalief Browder's Death," June 6). In light of the two-year anniversary of the suicide of Kalief Browder, who was held for years in an adult jail as a minor, Jeree detailed new laws designed to change how young adults are treated in the criminal justice system.
