Skadden Fellow Nisha Kashyap ('15) wrote an op-ed published by The Chronical of Social Change about hidden effects on children of proposed legal aid funding cuts by the Trump administration ("Cuts to Legal Aid Would Be Catastrophic for Children," April 13). The cuts would be disastrous for families, Nisha said, as one-third of all legal aid cases are family law cases, while children also are involved in homelessness and direct representation cases.
