Stephanie Rudolph Represents Pressured Tenants

Former Skadden fellow Stephanie Rudolph ('11) of the Urban Justice Center was quoted in a front-page New York Times article about a case she is handling on behalf of a group of Manhattan tenants, living in rent-stabilized apartments and paying below-market rents, who have recorded conversations they claim were "meant to scare them into leaving" ("Tenants in New York Press the Record Button in a Dispute With the Landlord," Oct. 18). The article said, "Stephanie … said her clients, who intend to stay in their homes, were seeking a monetary settlement for their troubles or, if the case goes to trial, a ruling that the landlord must pay fines to the city for each finding of harassment."
