Stephanie Rudolph Represents Tenants in Ongoing Battle for Heat

Former Skadden Fellow Stephanie Rudolph ('11) was quoted in a New York Times article about tenants at 930-940 Prospect Place in Brooklyn, whose case against their buildings' owner for lack of heat — confirmed numerous times by city housing inspectors — has been stuck in court for more than a year ("A Year After Suing Their Landlord, Brooklyn Tenants Still Lack Heat," Jan. 22). Stephanie, one of the lawyers representing the tenants for Urban Justice Center, said, "Time definitely isn't on the tenants' side in a case like this." She added, "It's very frustrating ... whatever is supposed to deter the landlord is not forthcoming, and it may be spring before there's a ruling."
