Lauren Brady Blalock Assists Juvenile Offenders

Former Skadden Fellow Lauren Brady Blalock ('06) was featured in a San Francisco Chronicle article about the Legal Education Advocacy Program ("Lawyers Help Troubled S.F. Youths Stay in Class, Out of Jail," March 8). The program allows the city to offer juvenile offenders extra legal and personal support. As part of the program, Lauren attended school meetings with one young offender and made sure he received the services he needed. "With Brady at his back, he was reassessed for a range of disabilities and diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and given additional help, including smaller classes for a few of his courses," the article said. "Brady continues to attend meetings to evaluate his special-education needs."
