Former Fellow Larisa Bowman ('11) of Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto was quoted in a Bloomberg News article about residents facing eviction from rent-controlled apartments in East Palo Alto, Calif.’s Woodland Park ("In Silicon Valley, a New Investment: Eviction," April 7). Larisa represents many of the tenants. “One of the challenges we have been facing is that they are either aggressively evicting people or making their lives so difficult that the vacancies increase,” Larisa said of a Woodland Park property owner.
