Maya Wiley Discusses George Zimmerman Acquittal

Former Skadden Fellow Maya Wiley (’92), founder and president of the Center for Social Inclusion, appeared on MSNBC, including on “Morning Joe,” to discuss the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the killing of Trayvon Martin (“Justice Department Takes a Closer Look at Zimmerman Case,” July 15). When considering how the Justice Department will decide whether to bring federal charges against Zimmerman, Maya said, “It’s going to go through several stages of scrutiny before a final decision is made. ... It’s a very rigorous process.”
