Maya Wiley Analyzes Supreme Court Discrimination Case

Former Fellow Maya Wiley (’92), an NBC News and MSNBC legal analyst, reported for the NBC News website Think on a Supreme Court case addressing conflicting interpretations of a 153-year-old law governing contracts (“Allen May Make Racial Discrimination Harder To Fight,” Nov. 13). The case, filed by the National Association of African-Owned Media against Comcast for refusing to carry a channel, “isn’t just about the cable company and one media mogul,” Maya said. “The results of the company’s legal strategy could be devastating to civil rights law.”
