Former Fellows Sam Petsonk (’13) and Evan Smith (’13) recently presented their work at the West Virginia University Law School symposium “Appalachian Justice.” Sam presented a law review article he co-authored, “Working for Recovery: How the Americans With Disabilities Act and State Human Rights Laws Can Facilitate Successful Rehabilitation for Alcoholics and Drug Addicts,” and Evan discussed his research on black lung, including his law review article, “Black Lung in the 21st Century: Disease, Law, and Policy.”
