Former Fellow Theresa Zhen (’14) received the UCLA School of Law’s Recent Alumni Award on April 3. The award recognizes “outstanding contributions to the public interest” from recent graduates. Theresa is a staff attorney and clinical supervisor for the East Bay Community Law Center’s Clean Slate Practice, which seeks to reduce pathways to the criminal justice system and remove barriers to employment and civic participation for people with criminal records.
