Eve Stotland Comments on Trump Administration Immigration Policy

Former Fellow Eve Stotland (’99) was quoted in a New York Times article regarding U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ “unannounced policy” that New York applicants over age 18 no longer qualify for Special Immigrant Juvenile status (“A Rule Is Changed for Young Immigrants, and Green Card Hopes Fade,” April 18). “The government wants to pick and choose who is and isn’t a child, but in fact it’s a matter of law,” Eve said.
