On April 18, former Fellow Kara Finck (’02) will receive the University of Pennsylvania Law School’s Beacon Award, which recognizes an exemplary commitment to pro bono work by a Penn Law faculty member. Kara directs the Interdisciplinary Child Advocacy Clinic, focusing on the legal needs of children and families. The clinic provides direct legal representation, while also working on systemic reform projects in the areas of child welfare and Family Court.
