Emily Zhang Challenges Controversial Kansas Voting Law

Fellow Emily Zhang (’17) of the American Civil Liberties Union is part of the trial team in the ACLU’s voting rights case against Kansas Secretary Kris Kobach, which has been covered by The New York Times, public radio station KCUR and Esquire. Emily examined political science expert Eitan Hersh in the case, which challenges a 2013 Kansas law requiring people to produce citizenship documents in order to register to vote.
