ACLU lawyer and former Fellow Eunice Cho (’10) commented in Seattle Weekly on the plight of client Jesus Chavez Flores, an immigrant who was placed under 20-day solitary confinement after he went on a hunger strike to protest conditions at a detention center (“Northwest Detention Center Hunger Striker Released After 20 Days in Solitary,” March 2). Eunice said, “We’re seeing the Trump administration engage in even more repressive tactics against immigrants.”
