Former Fellow Elizabeth Kristen (’02) appeared on NBC’s “Today” show to discuss her client Helen Grace, a lesbian whose discharge status from the Air Force was finally upgraded to “honorable” 60 years after she was expelled thanks to a lawsuit that Elizabeth helped file (“Meet the 91-Year-Old Woman Who Was Kicked Out of the Air Force for Being Gay,” Feb. 27). Helen will serve as grand marshal of the Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade on June 2.
