Former Fellow Lindsay Nash (’14) co-wrote an op-ed for the New York Daily News calling for the adoption of rules to restrict Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers’ ability to arrest immigrants in New York courthouses (“Get ICE Out of N.Y.’s Courtrooms,” Jan. 25). “Immigrants are now afraid to attend court in any capacity — as defendants, plaintiffs, witnesses, victims or supportive family members. This impedes justice,” the article said.
