Charles Gillig Says Suburban Poor Lack Health Care Services

Former Fellow Charles Gillig (’11) of Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County was quoted in a Washington Post article about the need for greater health services for suburban poor (“Upsurge of Suburban Poor Discover Health Care’s Nowhere Land,” Feb. 9). Health care services in the suburbs “are not robust enough to fill the needs” of a growing low-income population, Charles said.
