Former Fellow Song Richardson (’93) has been appointed dean of the University of California Irvine School of Law. Its media release noted that Song is the only woman of color to lead a law school ranked in U.S. News & World Report’s top 30. “Song Richardson is a brilliant scholar and inspirational leader,” said Chancellor Howard Gillman. Her appointed was featured in a Los Angeles Times article (“New UC Irvine Dean Will Be Only Woman of Color to Lead a Top Law School, University Says,” Dec. 27).
