Christopher Lapinig Comments on Human Trafficking Protections

Former Fellow Christopher Lapinig (‘15) was quoted in an Asian Journal article about a case he helped file on behalf of an immigrant who was allegedly forced into involuntary servitude (“Filipina Reportedly Trafficked Into Forced Labor Sues Host Family,” Jan. 6). Many people who are trafficked into domestic servitude aren’t fully aware of the laws in place that protect them from abuse and negligence they may endure under their captors, Christopher said.
